“Shervin and I worked together in the Research group at Citrix Systems between 2014 and 2016. I was his manager for a portion of this time. At the time, our team was building an experimental Sales Intelligence product. Shervin was instrumental in this product's success. He built a beautiful website and front end for the product, which was critical for release. He iterated rapidly on it throughout the quarter and delivered a great customer experience. Shervin also actively reached out to his personal network and single-handedly recruited 8 out of our first 10 external customers. He came up with the idea of making a post on BetaList (beta customer recruitment website) and executed on this, which led us to acquire 80+ external customers, thereby exceeding our goal of acquiring 10 external customers many times over. In addition to these contributions, Shervin always brought great energy and enthusiasm to the team. His presence took everyone else’s game up a notch.”

A real-time platform for an ad-hoc call center. Users can view/answer incoming calls in real-time and transfer calls to other users. There is a real-time collaborative editing of notes for each call. Written in Ruby with EventMachine/Goliath. Deployed and maintained on AWS with Chef.

3x3x3 RGB LED Cube powered by an Arduino Microprocessor. LEDs (27 of them) were soldered together to create a cube the four shift registers in series connected the LEDs to the Arduino. We wrote a program that would allow us to control each LED one-by-one then went deeper in the code and made it "dance" to Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Created for our ECE 199 course.
